The Glasgow City Cup is one of the biggest and best-known youth tournaments in the country, attracting teams from all over the world over the last 9 years.
The tournament grows and improves every year, with 190 teams from home and abroad set to line up in Glasgow for two weekends of fun and competition.
I’d like to congratulate tournament director Jim Smith on receiving an MBE this year. The hard work and dedication of Jim, and everyone associated with the tournament, helps to create an exciting environment for young players, and a fantastic advert for Glasgow, and youth football in Scotland.
