The 2009 Tournament kicked off in glorious sunshine. On hand to launch the Tournament was Scotland footballing legend Kenny Dalglish, accompanied by Councillor Steven Purcell, the Leader of Glasgow City Council

They officially tossed a coin for the game between North Dublin Schoolboys and Arsenal BC. Shown here are the two Captains Jamie McGlinchy (Arsenal) and Garit Byrne (Nth Dublin). In what was an exciting opening game Nth Dublin won 1-0
