Tournament Director Jim Smith has been awarded an MBE in the 2010 New Years Honours List announced on 31st Dec. Jim has been involved in Youth Football for 30 Years and was recognised for the voluntary service to Youth Football in Glasgow

As well as Tournament Director, Jim is also Regional Secretary for the SYFA West Regionand represents Youth Football on the Glasgow Sports Council

Regional Chairman Peter Glancey said that this was great to see volunteers being recognised for all the hard work they put in and in particular supporting Youth Football and it’s development in Glasgow.
