Clubmark Accreditation by Glasgow City Council
The Glasgow City Cup has been firmly on the Youth Football calander since the year 2000. Members of the local Scottish Youth Football Association decided that Glasgow needed a Youth Football Tournament for both Scottish and Foreign Teams and so the Tournament was born. The Tournament as part of the SYFA West Region has received the Clubmark Accreditation by Glasgow City Council, Culture and Sport and the Sports Council for Glasgow. 2009 Tournament Kicked Off In Style

Scotland Footballing Legend Kenny Dalglish launched the 2009 tournament, shown here with Tournament Director Jim Smith. Kenny said that he wished he had such opportunities as playing in first class facilities and in such a competition.
